Chest Fever celebrates the iconic songs, albums, and concerts of the legendary Canadian-American Hall of Fame inductees THE BAND.
Described by Relix Magazine as “faithful, but updated with a bit more teeth,” the group has been carrying the tradition and musicianship forward since 2022.
As an international touring rock band, Chest Fever has released two albums of The Band’s music, and performs the famous 1976 concert, The Last Waltz, in its entirety for audiences of all ages.
With a stamp of approval from the late Robbie Robertson and The Band Official Estate, Chest Fever honors The Band’s fabled legacy by capturing the passion and magic of their timeless catalog– for modern and new fans alike.

A night of short films and a Q&A with Mikah Meyer, filmmaker, national parks expert and LGBTQ+ advocate, presented by Banff Pride and The Lux.
The program runs about 90 minutes and includes five short films plus Miss Adventure, Mikah’s new film about his run across Mississippi, co-directed with adventure filmmaker James “Q” Martin. Also screening: Canyon Chorus, an award-winning short about a group of friends rafting Utah’s Desolation Canyon that weaves together adventure and coming-out stories, and The Banff Monster, made at the 2025 Banff Adventure Filmmaker Workshop.
Mikah is known as the first person to visit all 419 U.S. National Park Service sites in a single trip, and he created Outside Safe Space, a symbol people wear to show LGBTQ+ folks they’re welcome outdoors. Films start at 7:00 PM, followed by a Q&A. Bring your questions.
Tickets are $15 (plus a $1.25 online fee) through The Lux. A portion of each ticket supports Banff Pride.
